A rewarding opportunity awaits for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive K-12 school setting for the 2025–2026 academic year, running from September to June. This contract role primarily serves elementary students and includes some high schoolers, offering the chance to make a genuine difference in a close-knit educational community near Liverpool, NY.

In this role, you will oversee a caseload of around 28 students, collaborating with dedicated educators and supportive families to nurture each student’s communication skills and overall development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth speech and language evaluations to inform individualized plans
  • Delivering direct therapy crafted to each student’s unique strengths and needs
  • Partnering with teachers and staff to develop and implement classroom accommodations
  • Tracking student progress and refining interventions for ongoing improvement
  • Actively engaging in IEP meetings and contributing to the creation of actionable goals
  • Providing resources, guidance, and encouragement for parents and caregivers

Key qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible SLP state licensure
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of IEP documentation and relevant legislation

This position follows the school calendar, with guaranteed work hours and time off aligned to district breaks. Pay is competitive, ranging from $48 to $58 per hour. Eligible candidates may also access healthcare benefits, assistance with housing, and meals/incidentals.
