Seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to serve in a supportive K-12 educational setting in the greater Liverpool, NY area. This contract role runs for the 2025–2026 academic year (September through June) and centers on providing essential speech and language services to primarily elementary students, with opportunities to also work with high schoolers.

In this role, you will oversee a manageable caseload of about 28 students, directly impacting their communication and learning outcomes. As part of a collaborative school team, you’ll create individualized therapy plans, foster student progress, and work hand-in-hand with educators and families to ensure holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services, adjusting approaches as students progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to recommend accommodations and modifications
  • Actively contribute to IEP meetings, assisting with goal-setting and progress monitoring
  • Provide outreach, support, and education to families and caregivers

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible state SLP license
  • Preferred experience working with school-aged children
  • Deep understanding of the IEP process and educational law
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
