This contract role spans the 2025–2026 academic year, primarily serving elementary students while including some high school involvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing individualized therapy plans for a caseload of approximately 28 students
  • Deliver direct therapy services designed to meet each student's unique needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators to implement classroom accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing thoughtful input for goal setting and planning
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to parents and caregivers, fostering strong home-school connections

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills essential
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and educational law related to special education
