Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Liverpool, New York

This role provides vital speech-language pathology services across the north and south sides of Onondaga, including Syracuse. What’s needed for a strong fit:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but motivated CFYs are encouraged to apply
• School-based SLP experience, or a strong desire to work in educational settings
• Background working with pediatric populations
• Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Commitment to collaboration and supporting diverse student needs

Key responsibilities:

• Provide screening, evaluations, and therapy for students needing speech and language support
• Develop IEP goals and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive student care
• Document progress, maintain required records, and prepare reports as needed
• Deliver services on-site, with opportunities for teletherapy integration
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
