In this role, you will:
- Conduct thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions that promote progress toward speech and language goals
- Track and maintain careful documentation of student development and outcomes
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to create coordinated, student-centered care plans
- Involve and advise families to support therapy objectives both in and outside the classroom
Your qualifications should include:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also welcome
- Experience working with school-aged children and/or pediatric populations is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
To be eligible, candidates must hold or be able to secure an active license through the State Board of Speech Language Pathology and have obtained a Master’s degree or higher in the discipline.
