Step into a full-time contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in a supportive educational environment near Livingston, LA. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP with a passion for helping children achieve their communication goals in a school setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid state SLP license (or the ability to obtain before start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students according to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct students’ speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as required
