This full-time role (37.5 hours weekly, with part-time availability) provides direct, onsite services within a supportive school environment. You will collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student achievement, create individualized plans, and deliver dynamic interventions that help students thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF’s encouraged)
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with special education colleagues
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on measurable outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Serve as an engaged member of multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
