Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to cultivating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Deliver both individual and small-group speech-language therapy sessions
- Track progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and parents for ongoing student support
- Stay current on best practices and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
