Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- Experience working in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in line with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure holistic support
- Document progress and maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate and train caregivers and teachers on strategies to support students’ communication skills
