Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required)
- Previous experience in a school or special education setting with K-12 students
- Not open to Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs); only fully licensed SLPs
- Commitment to onsite, in-person service within the school community—virtual work is not available for this role
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language intervention for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with special education teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate records, participate in meetings, and contribute expertise to support student success
- Provide direct therapy and consultation to ensure students’ communication needs are met within the educational setting
