Speech Language Pathologist in Livonia, MI

Step into an exciting opportunity as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from kindergarten through high school. Starting August 31, 2026, and continuing through June 4, 2027, this position offers a chance to make a direct impact on learners’ communication and academic growth in a vibrant and supportive school setting.

This full-time role consists of 37.5 hours per week, but there’s also flexibility to consider strong part-time candidates. You’ll work onsite, partnering with dedicated professionals and engaging with a diverse caseload from K-12. Your expertise will help shape positive outcomes for students, encouraging communication skills essential for lifelong success.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Michigan SLP license (please include your license in your application)
• Minimum one year of school-based SLP experience preferred (not accepting SLP-CFs)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to different age groups and academic needs
• Commitment to onsite support—remote work is not available for this assignment

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services for K-12 students
• Conduct assessments and document progress
• Collaborate with Special Education Teachers and school staff to develop effective IEPs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student goal setting
• Offer guidance and educational support to families and caregivers
