Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working within a school setting, especially with K-12 populations, is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students from kindergarten through 12th grade for speech, language, and communication delays or disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups as appropriate
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, session notes, and student progress
- Offer insights and recommendations to support student achievement across academic and social settings
