School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lockhart, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with early childhood and elementary school caseloads preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in PreK-2nd grade students
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and group sessions
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Maintain thorough records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent/teacher conferences as needed
• Provide consultative support and resources to teachers, staff, and families
• Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development
