Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice speech-language pathology
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to suit diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in PreK through 2nd grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEPs and school goals
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Monitor and document student growth, adjusting approaches as needed to optimize outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school staff consultations
