A distinguished elementary school in Lockhart, TX, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to provide exceptional therapy services for students from PreK through 2nd grade. This contract position offers the option of either full-time or part-time hours for the upcoming school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for early elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Document and monitor student performance and communicate regularly with stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with Early Childhood and Elementary populations, specifically PreK–2nd grade
- Strong ability to adapt therapy techniques to engage young learners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration and family interaction
- Valid state licensure as required
