Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a bilingual Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist with this unique contract opportunity. The position focuses on providing expert care for a preschool and a first-grade student, with a collaborative co-teaching model alongside an experienced school-based SLP. This role offers a highly flexible commitment, requiring just two hours weekly—Monday afternoons (1:20 pm - 2:20 pm) and Friday afternoons (1:50 pm - 2:50 pm)—for the current school year. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent field
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
  • Relevant experience in school settings, pediatrics, or healthcare environments
  • Confidence in delivering speech services via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and professionals

Role Responsibilities:

  • Co-teach with an on-site speech pathologist, focusing on comprehensive care for bilingual preschool and first-grade students
  • Conduct speech and language assessments, tailoring interventions to meet each child’s unique needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and collaborate on IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate progress documentation and communicate results to educators, students, and families
  • Leverage technology and teletherapy platforms to maximize engagement and outcomes (for remote applicants)
