Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Lockport, NY

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a significant impact in the lives of students as an onsite School Speech Language Pathologist. Two positions are available: one supporting both a life skills high school (about 70% of the week) and a non-public school (roughly 30% of the week), and another serving at a local middle school. Both roles offer structured schedules, dedicated planning and lunch periods, and the chance to work closely with supportive educational teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
• Valid SLP state licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
• Experience or interest in school-based practice
• Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary school teams
• Ability to structure therapy sessions to suit diverse student needs

Your Role:

• Deliver 7-8 targeted 30-minute SLP sessions daily, focusing on tailored student goals
• Plan and document individualized interventions, ensuring compliance with IEPs and school guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, sharing progress updates and collaborating on strategies
• Engage parents and faculty to support student communication and learning
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation, upholding confidentiality standards

Position Details:

• Life skills high school/non-public school role: 7:30am-2:45pm, from late October through January 2027
• Middle school role: 8:30am-3:30pm, from early November to end of January
• Contract assignments with scheduled lunch and planning periods
