Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lockport, NY

Make a difference providing speech-language pathology services to K-4th grade students through in-home visits in the Buffalo, NY area. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students’ communication needs in a one-on-one setting, ensuring individualized progress and growth through seven weekly sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in New York State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially elementary students (K-4th), highly desired
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel for in-home visits with reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct seven in-home speech therapy sessions each week with K-4th grade students
• Assess and develop treatment plans tailored to each child's unique speech and language goals
• Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with families and school professionals on strategies and outcomes
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to foster academic and social success
• Comply with federal, state, and district guidelines regarding speech and language therapy
