Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license for New York State (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, including assessment and IEP development
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy services for K-12 students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and support staff development initiatives
- Advocate for student success through evidence-based practices
