Make a direct impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting a K-12 caseload in a welcoming school environment near Locust Grove, VA. This contract opportunity is full time, offering 37.5 hours per week and the flexibility to accommodate candidate preferences regarding specific caseloads within K-12. Three SLP positions are available, and clinicians with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable consulting with educators and families
  • Passionate about helping students develop their communication and language abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech-language and communication needs in accordance with IEP goals
  • Maintain required documentation and progress reports for student services
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care for each student
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support programming throughout the school community
  • Tailor therapy plans based on student abilities and grade level
