Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or pending SLP license in Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly desired; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students; willingness to discuss specific caseload preferences
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passionate about fostering student growth and success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy services to students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely documentation of progress, and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Support a diverse range of students, adapting therapy as needed to meet varied learning and developmental needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff in-services, and professional development as required
