Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and evidence-based therapy techniques
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs
  • Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
