Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Experience in school settings or with school-aged children is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with classroom educators and other support staff to ensure integrated support for students
  • Track students’ progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to families and staff
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to shaping a supportive learning environment
  • Educate staff and families on communication disorders to foster greater understanding and support
