Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Experience in school settings or with school-aged children is advantageous
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with classroom educators and other support staff to ensure integrated support for students
- Track students’ progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to families and staff
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to shaping a supportive learning environment
- Educate staff and families on communication disorders to foster greater understanding and support
