This full-time contract position focuses on working hands-on with students, families, and faculty to assess and treat a variety of speech and language disorders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students referred with communication challenges
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs, both individually and in group settings
  • Document progress, maintain compliance records, and prepare detailed reports
  • Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Offer consultation, classroom strategies, and recommendations to staff for student integration and success
  • Adjust interventions and strategies based on ongoing monitoring and student progress

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP licensure in Georgia and/or appropriate educator certification
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association CCC-SLP preferred; strong candidates in CFY are encouraged to apply
  • Prior school-based experience ideal, though pediatric background considered
  • Demonstrated skills in collaboration, organization, and professional communication
