This full-time contract position focuses on working hands-on with students, families, and faculty to assess and treat a variety of speech and language disorders. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students referred with communication challenges
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs, both individually and in group settings
- Document progress, maintain compliance records, and prepare detailed reports
- Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Offer consultation, classroom strategies, and recommendations to staff for student integration and success
- Adjust interventions and strategies based on ongoing monitoring and student progress
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure in Georgia and/or appropriate educator certification
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association CCC-SLP preferred; strong candidates in CFY are encouraged to apply
- Prior school-based experience ideal, though pediatric background considered
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration, organization, and professional communication
