Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication and learning as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position is part-time and is set to begin on August 7, 2026, continuing through June 4, 2027. You’ll make a difference in the lives of TK-8th grade students while working at one welcoming location near Lompoc and Solvang, CA.

Your expertise will be valued as you serve a mixed caseload of 58 students, helping to foster their speech and language development throughout the school year. Benefit from a predictable schedule, covering 180 academic days plus an additional 20 days allocated to support preparation and wrap-up tasks, totaling 1600 contract hours. The position is designed for both experienced professionals and those working toward their CTC credential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech-Language Pathology or documentation showing active progress toward obtaining it (permit required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy environments a plus
  • Strong assessment, IEP planning, and progress monitoring skills
  • Compassionate communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to confidently manage a diverse, mixed caseload of TK-8th students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students in one school setting
  • Complete thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to therapy and student progress
  • Engage with students, families, and staff to promote optimal outcomes

Compensation for this role ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
