Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFYs considered
  • Previous school-based SLP experience or strong interest in working within the school system
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt services to individual student needs
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to positive student outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based interventions
