This role features a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, totaling 35 hours per week. You will manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, collaborating with teachers, families, and school staff to foster communication skills that will make an enduring impact.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students on your caseload
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational outcomes
- Provide direct therapy services and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state requirements
