Step into a dynamic environment supporting students' communication and language needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Located near Long Beach, this on-site, full-time contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Serving a diverse student population, you’ll engage with a manageable caseload (55–60 students) across 1–4 schools within the LA area, averaging two locations.

Bring your expertise as a CCC-SLP or apply as a Clinical Fellow (with supervision in place). This community values collaboration: you will not have case management responsibilities, as dedicated case managers are present on every campus. Each day unfolds from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., ensuring consistent hours and the ability to make a lasting impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active CA SLP license
  • Valid CTC document on file (preliminary/clear SLP credential or Certificate of Clearance)
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow status (with supervision arranged)
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and intervention for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Consult and communicate progress to staff and parents
  • Maintain thorough documentation for student progress and compliance
  • Manage and utilize assessment materials (reimbursement provided for up to $2500 in materials)
  • Rotate through assigned schools as needed
