We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity supporting school-aged children. You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and fellow therapists to help students reach their communication goals and succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP licensure and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, interventions, and therapy for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and personal growth
- Effectively write and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and required documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and service delivery
