Speech Language Pathologist in Long Beach, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP licensure and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments, interventions, and therapy for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and personal growth
• Effectively write and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and required documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and service delivery
