Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Experience working with mild to moderate student populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
- Comfortable providing all services onsite; remote work is not available
- SLPA support is not needed for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to a caseload of elementary-aged students with mild to moderate needs
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with other specialists and classroom teachers to provide integrated support for students' academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences as required
- Utilize evidence-based practices to tailor therapy plans and interventions
