School Speech Language Pathologist - Long Beach, CA

Make an impact supporting young learners as an in-person Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Work full-time, guiding elementary-aged students to greater communication skills and confidence in a nurturing academic environment. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload and collaborate with a dedicated school community.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid California SLP license (CFY and CCC candidates both considered)
• Ability to deliver therapy to elementary-age students in a school setting
• Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse student needs and fostering growth

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Providing direct therapy to students, adapting approaches to suit learners’ unique needs
• Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other therapists
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary support teams
• Maintaining accurate records and tracking student progress
