This full-time, in-person contract opportunity runs the duration of the 2026-2027 school year and offers a dynamic setting where you can provide essential speech and language support to help children thrive academically and socially.
In this role, you’ll deliver direct and consultative SLP services to an elementary caseload, working 37.5 hours each week. The position is ideal for both Certified SLPs (CCC), Clinical Fellows (CFY), and candidates with a strong interest or background in school-based pediatric therapy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in California (Clinical Fellow or CCC eligible)
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Able to adapt therapy strategies to individual student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services to students in both group and individual settings
- Complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all state and federal regulations
