School Speech Language Pathologist - Long Beach, California

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across the LA area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Your day-to-day will be filled with diverse experiences, working with caseloads of 55-60 students spanning various age groups across 1-4 school sites (average of 2). You’ll collaborate with case managers on each campus and enjoy a consistent schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, from your start date through June 4, 2027.

What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• Active, posted California SLP License
• Valid CTC document (preliminary or clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance)
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY (with supervision in place; no SLPA’s for this role)
• Comfort working in an itinerant model with occasional travel between schools (never more than a 1-hour or 20-mile commute)
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to fostering communication growth in school-aged children

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned caseloads, primarily on-site at school campuses
• Conduct assessments and therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with on-campus case managers
• Utilize provided assessment materials (with reimbursement for up to $2500 in related expenses)
