Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in school-based speech services preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads across different school types
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions for students with a variety of communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and monitor student outcomes
- Provide guidance and resources for faculty and families to reinforce therapy techniques
- Participate in meetings and contribute to special education planning
