Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the academic year, with a part-time contract spanning from early August to late May. This onsite position offers the opportunity to engage with high school students across two campuses, contributing your skills to help students succeed academically and socially.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate adaptability, professional communication, and a passion for collaborating with educational teams. You’ll work closely with faculty to design, implement, and monitor interventions, ensuring every student’s voice is heard and their needs are met.

Qualifications:

  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license as an SLP (applications without attached CDE or COOL credential will not be reviewed)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Minimum of one year of prior classroom-based experience in a school setting
  • Comfortable working exclusively onsite with high school students
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate caseloads between campuses
  • SLPA credentials are not accepted for this role

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students at assigned high schools
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students with communication disorders
  • Maintain thorough documentation as required by district and state regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to facilitate student progress
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary IEP and team meetings
  • Manage a 0.6 FTE schedule, approx. 24 hours weekly, with specific hours determined in coordination with administration
