Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a dedicated speech-language professional for the upcoming school year. Working full-time for 40 hours each week, you’ll serve an engaging caseload of 50-55 early childhood and elementary students (PreK-5) across two school sites. Your expertise will help shape communication skills, academic success, and confidence in a vibrant educational community near Longmont, CO.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for school-based practice
  • Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students
  • Strong background in school settings, including knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across two locations
  • Experience with Child Find evaluations is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy for students encompassing the entire caseload, serving all identified needs from early childhood through elementary ages
  • Conduct Child Find evaluations to support the identification and support of students with speech-language needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Help maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive therapy environment across both designated school sites
  • Participate in meetings, documentation, and ongoing communication with team members and families
