A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Longview, Washington. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. The setting is a school environment serving students with a range of disabilities from mild to severe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, assessments, and individualized treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Monitor student progress and update documentation and reports accordingly
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services five days a week, Monday through Friday, approximately 7 hours per day
- Adapt therapy techniques to address a variety of disabilities and learning styles
Qualifications:
- Washington State Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
