Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 academic year. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll help learners with a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe, develop essential communication skills in an educational setting. This onsite position offers full-time hours—Monday through Friday, seven hours per day—creating stability and consistency for both you and the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Washington State certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting supporting diverse disabilities is highly preferred
  • Ability to adapt interventions to serve students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with IEP requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with various speech and language needs
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services across all assigned grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in speech and language development
  • Utilize technology and evidence-based practices to maximize student outcomes
