Empower students and support dedicated colleagues by providing specialized speech therapy services in a school setting. This in-person, contract role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference for children in the Conway, SC area, with a flexible schedule of 9–10 hours each week. You will work collaboratively with school staff, helping to alleviate caseload demands for the district’s current speech-language pathologist, ensuring every child gets the attention they deserve.

Desired Background:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible South Carolina SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatric speech therapy highly valued
  • Strong collaborative skills and professional communication
  • Comfortable providing direct therapy and consultative support in a school environment

Your Role:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy and intervention for a diverse caseload of students
  • Offer evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Liaise with educators and families to facilitate student success and promote generalization of skills
  • Assist in reducing the workload of current staff SLPs, supporting effective service delivery
  • Maintain documentation according to school and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches
