School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Los Alamos, New Mexico

An opportunity awaits for a dedicated, enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) to work onsite with elementary students, supporting their growth and helping them reach key communication milestones. Just 18 minutes outside of Santa Fe near Pojoaque, NM, you’ll collaborate with passionate educators in a supportive contract position.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid SLP-CCC or CFY credentials
• Ability to work onsite (virtual/remote not available at this time)
• Prior experience with elementary-age students is a plus, especially in 1st, 4th, and 5th grades
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school-based team
• Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver therapy for 1st, 4th, and 5th grade students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per school guidelines
• Attend and contribute to meetings related to student progress and planning
• Create an engaging and supportive environment to foster student growth

You’ll work full time, Monday through Thursday, providing you with dedicated time for a work-life balance and the chance to explore the beauty and vibrant culture of northern New Mexico on extended weekends.
