Step into an impactful role supporting children’s communication skills in a vibrant educational setting near Los Angeles, CA. Two contract positions are available for highly motivated Speech Language Pathologists for the 24/25 school year. These full-time roles (5 days per week, 8 hours daily) focus on working with preschool and elementary-aged students in a rewarding, on-site environment.

The ideal candidate is ready to make a difference by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students while collaborating closely with educators and families. You will be part of a team that values evidence-based practices and advocacy for every student’s communication abilities.

Qualifications & Background Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Valid and current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing speech and language therapy to preschool and elementary school students
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine needs
  • Drafting and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Documenting services provided and student progress
  • Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to optimize support
  • Attending and contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Maintaining up-to-date student records and following compliance protocols
