Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with preschool or elementary populations, is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organization and time management abilities
- Dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy through both individual and group sessions
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain current and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
- Support students’ academic and social participation by addressing speech and language needs
