A Speech and Language Pathologist is needed for a part-time contract position in Los Angeles, CA, supporting early childhood and special education settings. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to preschool children and students in a Mild Moderate Special Day Class (SDC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to preschool-aged children and students in the Mild Moderate SDC classroom.
  • Assess, develop, and implement therapy plans tailored to students’ communication needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid license as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Experience working with preschool populations and students with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies suitable for school settings.

Location:

  • Los Angeles, California
  • This is a contract role requiring availability 2 days per week.
