Exciting opportunities await for Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a meaningful impact in educational settings. Contract roles are available for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, with seven positions open. Situated near Los Angeles, CA, these roles offer a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. You’ll support a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students, providing essential speech and language services within a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for a temporary license/CFY.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills for school-aged children.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing student needs.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities for working effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide direct therapy services to students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to school and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in school meetings, staff development, and parent conferences as a valued member of the team.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, students, and families on communication disorders.
