Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a dynamic educational environment near Los Angeles, CA. As a full-time professional working on-site only, you will provide vital speech therapy services across one to four school campuses, with most assignments typically covering two schools. This contract role begins August 11, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week).
You’ll collaborate with established case managers, focusing your expertise purely on assessment and direct intervention with a caseload of 55-60 students spanning various age groups. Assessment materials will be reimbursed up to a specified amount, ensuring you have the resources needed to offer quality services. This position welcomes Clinical Fellows (CF), provided appropriate supervisory arrangements are in place. SLPA candidates are not eligible.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid, active California SLP license
- Clear or preliminary California SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance
- CFs considered if supervision is arranged (no SLPA applications accepted)
- Experience in school-based settings is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and support student progress
- Must be able to travel between assigned campuses as an itinerant SLP
