Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; consideration given to strong Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Previous experience in a school- or pediatric-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards
  • Familiarity with diverse student populations and exceptional interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders to support their academic and social participation
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and maintain up-to-date, thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding speech-language goals and services
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives for inclusive education and communication support
