Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for state certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress and compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to support student achievement
