Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility for state certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed documentation of progress and compliance with school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to support student achievement
