This contract opportunity involves working onsite at an elementary campus in the Los Angeles region, collaborating with dedicated professionals to provide impactful speech and language services.
In this role, you’ll engage with students in a welcoming environment to deliver assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and work closely with the school team and families. Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule, working from 9:00 AM to 3:10 PM, which allows for a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP in California
- Experience working with mild to moderate student populations in a school setting
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEP goals
- Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues on site; collaboration with SLPs Joyce Lee and Bridney McVay
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on student needs
- Provide direct intervention services in individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Complete timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and student consultation, as part of an onsite team
