This full-time contract role focuses on delivering speech and language therapy throughout the 2026-2027 school year, working 37.5 hours each week with a dedicated caseload of elementary students. The ideal candidate brings expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational and healthcare contexts, and a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Strong background in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy
- Previous experience with elementary populations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to in-person support and collaborative practice with multidisciplinary school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students in an elementary school setting
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate progress documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other special education professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making
- Provide ongoing communication and education to families regarding intervention goals and progress
