School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Los Angeles, California

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a rewarding opportunity near Los Angeles, California! We’re seeking a dedicated professional to deliver full-time, in-person support for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position involves working 37.5 hours per week with elementary-aged students in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active California SLP license or eligibility
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials (open to both certified and clinical fellows)
• Experience supporting elementary-aged children in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt teaching and therapy strategies for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Provide individual and group therapy to help students achieve IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to foster student success
• Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families for continued student progress
