What You Bring:
- Active license as a Speech Language Pathologist in California
- Previous experience or solid comfort working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing individualized intervention plans for varied speech and language disorders
- Familiarity with IEP procedures and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive atmosphere for all students
How You’ll Make a Difference:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students demonstrating communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to promote student progress and participation
- Conduct screenings and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate, detailed records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Offer guidance and support to staff and parents to maximize student success in and out of the classroom
