Speech Language Pathologist in Los Angeles, CA

Step into a dynamic school-based setting supporting students in the Los Angeles area as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)! This contract opportunity runs from as soon as possible through early June 2027. You will have a chance to work on-site, traveling between 1 to 4 nearby schools (all within a 20-mile or one-hour drive), collaborating with experienced case managers and dedicated staff.

SLP professionals with the CCC or those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply! Please ensure appropriate supervision arrangements are in place for any CF applicants.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
• Valid California SLP license
• Current CTC document: preliminary/clear SLP credential or Certificate of Clearance
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CF status (no SLPA at this time)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Enthusiasm for supporting K-12 student populations
• Willingness to travel between multiple campuses within the district (average of 2)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 55-60 students
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive evaluation reports for students across campus assignments
• Collaborate with case managers at each assigned school—no case management responsibilities for this role
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain compliant documentation
• Utilize district-provided resources and materials; reimbursement up to $2500 for assessment materials is provided
