Certified Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Los Angeles, CA

The district is seeking a certified and licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to begin as soon as possible. This full-time, 5-day per week position offers the chance to work with a Preschool Assessment Team as well as provide services to preschool and Mild Moderate 1-2 SDC classrooms.

Your expertise will play a crucial part in supporting early intervention and setting students on the path to communication success. You will collaborate closely with educators and families, using your knowledge and creativity to develop individualized plans and help each child reach their full potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current license and certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist
• Experience working with preschool children, including assessment and intervention
• Knowledge of best practices and IEP development for students with mild to moderate needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability to engage with both assessment teams and special day classes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver therapy for preschool-age students
• Collaborate as part of the Preschool Assessment Team
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct and consultative services in classrooms, including Mild Moderate 1-2 SDC
• Communicate progress and strategies with families and staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
