A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Los Angeles, CA, providing services across multiple school settings with travel opportunities. This role focuses on supporting students’ communication needs by delivering assessments, individualized therapy, and collaborative interventions within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Provide direct speech therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and stay current with best practices in speech therapy

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability and willingness to travel between school sites within the Los Angeles area
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education regulations

  • Position based in Los Angeles, California with travel between local schools
