Two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for the 2026-2027 school year to work full-time with children and teens in PreK through 12th grade. This contract position offers the chance to build meaningful connections and support students’ communication development in a collaborative educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Holds or eligible for New Mexico SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates welcome
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a passion for helping students succeed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment and therapy services to students in PreK–12, adapting interventions for diverse needs and abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough records of evaluations, progress, and outcomes according to school and state requirements
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student goals and progress
- Contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated support for each student
