Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience working in school settings or with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
  • Ability to adapt therapy materials to meet students’ individual educational needs
  • Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and following ethical guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address communication goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services in one-on-one and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to integrate strategies into the classroom
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
