Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure as an SLP in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with adolescents in school settings, particularly middle and high school
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Familiarity with developing and carrying out IEPs for speech/language needs
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ communication abilities using standardized tools and clinical observations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services onsite
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff, to support students’ academic and social success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
  • Maintain thorough records and track student progress toward goals
