Desired Qualifications:
- Current license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Background in conducting assessments and delivering therapy to diverse student groups
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and school personnel
- Knowledge of IEP process and compliance with education regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students, addressing a wide range of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Manage, develop, and update IEPs, ensuring goals are measurable and progress is monitored
- Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Document services, progress notes, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
- Engage with families to foster understanding and carryover of strategies at home
