Desired Qualifications:

  • Current license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Background in conducting assessments and delivering therapy to diverse student groups
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and school personnel
  • Knowledge of IEP process and compliance with education regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students, addressing a wide range of communication needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Manage, develop, and update IEPs, ensuring goals are measurable and progress is monitored
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Document services, progress notes, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
  • Engage with families to foster understanding and carryover of strategies at home
