Make a meaningful impact supporting students with communication and language needs in an educational environment. Two contract opportunities are available for accomplished Speech-Language Pathologists to provide specialized services for the upcoming academic year.

Available assignments include:

  • One full-time SLP position serving the entire school year
  • One SLP covering a 0.8 FTE maternity leave from August 19 to September 30

Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering student growth, collaborative with educators, and ready to contribute to a positive school culture.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in educational settings
  • Prior experience in school-based environments strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapy practices to varied student needs and age groups

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with IEPs and 504 plans
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and document progress
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Maintain accurate records in alignment with school, district, and state protocols
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain current knowledge of best practices in school speech therapy
