Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active CCC-SLP certification
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students according to their IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group sessions, in accordance with student goals
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary planning process
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
