Speech Language Pathologist in Lowell, MA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• SLP licensure in Massachusetts required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience with preschool-age children strongly preferred
• Familiarity with early childhood assessment tools and IEP processes
• Confident communication skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Effective time management and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine children’s speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication challenges
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of strategies
• Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
• Provide consultative support for preschool staff, sharing best practices and resources
